These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the TancoCompete AI website, free competitor scan, accounts, subscriptions, dashboards, reports, alerts, AI features, and related services. By using TancoCompete AI, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must have legal authority to accept these Terms for yourself or the organisation you represent. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, activity performed through your account, and promptly reporting unauthorised access.

2. One-time free scan

The free scan is limited to one use per eligible user unless TancoCompete AI states otherwise. We may use account, email, session, browser, network, and abuse-prevention signals to enforce the limit. Free results may show only basic competitor information. Detailed intelligence and additional scans require an eligible subscription.

3. Subscriptions and plan limits

Paid features are governed by the selected plan, including limits for businesses, competitors, scans, AI analyses, reports, monitoring frequency, team members, exports, integrations, and data retention. Usage beyond a plan may be blocked, delayed, or require an upgrade.

4. Billing, renewals, and taxes

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval selected at checkout unless cancelled before renewal. You authorise the payment provider to charge applicable fees and taxes. Prices may change with advance notice where required. Failed payments may result in restricted, downgraded, or suspended access.

5. Cancellation, downgrades, and refunds

You may cancel or request a downgrade through available account controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid term unless applicable law requires otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where expressly stated or legally required. Downgrades may reduce limits and access to stored information.

6. Permitted use

You may use TancoCompete AI for lawful business research, strategy, marketing, sales enablement, and market monitoring. You must respect applicable laws, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, robots directives, API terms, website terms, and contractual obligations.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to gain unauthorised access; bypass security or plan limits; conduct unlawful surveillance; collect prohibited personal data; harass or harm others; distribute malware; overload systems; reverse engineer protected portions of the service; resell access without permission; misrepresent AI output; or use information in a discriminatory, deceptive, or unlawful manner.

8. Customer content and workspace data

You retain rights in information you lawfully submit. You grant TancoCompete AI the limited rights necessary to host, process, analyse, reproduce, and transmit that information to provide, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for submitted content.

9. Public and third-party data

Competitor information may come from public sources, user submissions, and third-party providers. TancoCompete AI does not guarantee that source information is complete, current, lawful for every intended use, or free from third-party restrictions. Source links and evidence should be reviewed.

10. Artificial intelligence disclaimer

AI-generated summaries, scores, SWOT analyses, opportunities, threats, recommendations, and reports are probabilistic outputs. They may contain errors, omissions, outdated facts, or unsupported inferences. They are not legal, financial, investment, or professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying information and decisions.

11. Intellectual property

TancoCompete AI and its software, branding, interfaces, designs, documentation, and non-customer content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted, no rights are transferred to you.

12. Confidentiality

Each party should protect non-public confidential information using reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of the service. Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that is public through no breach, independently developed, rightfully received, or required to be disclosed by law.

13. Service changes and availability

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. Monitoring schedules and third-party integrations may be affected by source changes, API limits, maintenance, outages, or legal restrictions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

14. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material breach. Upon termination, access may end and data may be deleted according to the retention policy and applicable law.

15. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as isu201d and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and guarantees of accuracy or business results.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TancoCompete AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunities, or data; or decisions based on competitor or AI information. Any aggregate liability will be limited as stated in the final business terms configured by the service operator.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify TancoCompete AI against claims arising from your unlawful use, submitted content, violation of third-party rights, or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing law and disputes

The final governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution provisions must be configured by the TancoCompete AI operating entity before commercial launch. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated as required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
